Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Donated Stock Manager to join our team in Crayford. This is a permanent opportunity working 37.5 hours a week.

The successful candidates will support area managers in ensuring effective supply of stock across the estate and for new shops, by co-ordinating distribution by the logistics team.

Key Responsibilities can include:

  • To ensure an adequate supply of donated goods for sale in Sense shops and growth of new shops
  • To co-ordinate national stock generation campaigns
  • To provide active support for area and store managers on local stock generation initiatives to grow increased quality and quantity of stock, including being directly responsible in increasing stock in growth shops identified as part of the trading strategy
  • To develop and manage relationships with third parties (business, local authorities, institutions) in order to establish and maintain sources of donated stock
  • To organise and manage our clothing banks, and deliver targeted growth
  • To control cost and expenditure within agreed budgets and to report on same periodically to Senior Management.
  • To establish and maintain a National Exemption Order for Sense stores.

  • Experience of stock generation in major charity
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Good computer skills in word and excel
