1st Waste Management announced as title sponsors of 2019 Charity Retail Awards
We are delighted to announce leading waste consultants 1st Waste Management as title sponsor of the 2019 Charity Retail Awards. The event celebrates excellence, and recognises the achievements of the charity retail sector in the United Kingdom.
The awards enter their 13th year and go from strength to strength, with a record amount of nominations received last year. The Charity Retail Awards will take place at The Colwick Hall Hotel, Nottingham on Tuesday 25 June.
The Greenest Charity Retailer of the Year Award has been re-introduced, with charity retailers up and down the country invited to submit their green credentials to the Awards judging panel. In addition, the nomination criteria surrounding both Volunteer and Young Volunteer awards has been loosened to encourage an even wider field of entries.
Mike Nicol, Sales Director at 1st Waste Management, said: “1st Waste have been working with the Charity Retail Association now for over 12 years and are delighted to be sponsoring this year’s awards.
“We firmly believe that sector to be integral to the High Street and while some will walk away with trophies from this year’s event, you should consider yourselves all winners for the sterling work you do within your communities.”
Awards nominations open 8am on Friday 1 March 2019 and close 23.59 on Monday, 1 April 2019.
