2019 Conference, Exhibition, and Awards: April update

Our 2019 Conference, Exhibition, and Awards are only two months away.

Charity Retail Awards

Thank you to all members that submitted nominations for this year’s Charity Retail Awards. The deadline has now closed to submit nominations for the main bulk awards categories but voting will start shortly for our Supplier of the Year Awards.

Three Award winners will be announced at the ceremony on Tuesday 25 June 2019. Votes will be filtered into three size categories. An email will be sent to our primary contact at our member charities containing a link to the voting form. The deadline for votes is midnight on Friday, 19 April 2019. Conference Accommodation

Due to high demand accommodation for the Orchard Hotel is now sold out on Tuesday night (25 June). Delegates can book to stay in Jubilee Conference Centre – approximately ten minutes’ drive away (for a small supplement) or on-site in en-suite student halls of residence.

Delegates can still book to stay in the Orchard Hotel for the night before the conference – Monday 24 June 2019 – but will need to select alternative accommodation for the Tuesday night.

Conference Focus Sessions

We delighted to announce our D3 focus session, Charity retail five years on, is now sold out. Delivered by our Chief Executive, Robin Osterley, on the final morning of conference, the session explores what charity retail may look like over the next decade.

There are some great alternative topics for delegates to select on Wednesday morning, including sessions on GDPR, Gift Aid, and eBay. Please email our Head of Events – Julia Cloke – for more information.
