25th Anniversary Gala Dinner
We can now announce details of the culmination of our 25th anniversary activity in 2024 – a celebratory gala dinner on Tuesday 19 November, kindly sponsored by Charity Fleetcare and Arnold Clark.
Held at Haberdasher’s Hall in London, we want to create a magical evening of reflection, socialising, entertainment and a banquet dinner. The evening will conclude with the presentation of the first-ever UK’s Favourite Charity Shop award.
Charity members were able to apply to our ballot to join us, and we’ve now contacted the ballot winners. We gave away pairs of tickets to some of our charity members to come and join us on the evening and celebrate with our staff, directors and friends of the sector both past and present.

Terms and conditions
Entry to the ballot closes on Friday 25 October at 5pm. Charities will be chosen at random and notified during the week of 28 October. Ballot places are open to charity members of the Charity Retail Association only. Successful attendees to the gala dinner must work for the charity directly, and at least one of the places must be taken up by someone working in your retail operation.
Area winners of the UK’s Favourite Charity Shop award will be contacted separately about securing their places at the gala dinner and so should not apply for the ballot.

The closest tube stations are Farringdon and Barbican, both about a 5-minute walk away.
There is a Premier Inn nearby, located in West Smithfield. Whilst not the most budget-friendly option it is conveniently placed for the event.
