Job Description

St Giles Hospice provides care and support for local people and their families, living with a terminal illness.

The Retail estate includes 21 shops and e-commerce operation with a turnover of approx. £3million which supports the overall income generation strategy.

Due to internal promotion, we are excited to be recruiting an Area Manager to our Retail team. A natural leader, you will have the ability to motivate and create a high performance culture by coaching and strong performance management. An excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with strong customer service, financial and operations planning skills, you will also be able to manage a varied workload and to prioritise tasks effectively.

Ideally you will have multi-site experience in managing charity retail, you’ll also be experience in the recruitment and development of diverse teams and managing operations remotely.

A full driving licence, access to a vehicle, with appropriate business insurance is essential for this role.

Hours of Work: 37.5 (5 days out of 7 with weekend rota cover)
