The Archway Shop from Crisis is coming into its second year and is one of six shops with another coming. Our shops produce a valuable source of income to support our services and create opportunities for homeless people to learn new skills and contribute to Crisis’ work in the community, Crisis shops have a unique contemporary visual identity and are dynamic and creative places to work.
About the role
As Assistant Shop Manager, you will take an active role in the established Shop from Crisis team, working closely with the Shop Manager to support the achievement of sales and training outcomes. The role will also focus heavily on the support of Crisis members’ desire to work in the retail sector, enabling and supporting their involvement in Shop from Crisis and promoting the services of Crisis to the local community. Crisis also offers excellent training opportunities for it’s staff with the potential to progress within the organisation.
Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
You will bring retail experience, an appropriate commercial focus and the ability to deliver excellent customer service. You will be able to take direction and exercise flexibility while working with others. Your excellent interpersonal skills will support your ability to interact with a range of people including colleagues, Crisis members, community volunteers and local customers.
