The Braunstone Foundation is a registered charity that has been operating for 20 years; delivering a range of services and programmes designed to make a difference to the lives of local people.
We work at the heart of the community and have secured funding to support the growth of community business.
We are currently recruiting a Community Development worker specifically to support, develop and establish a Community Business in order to realise our ambitions.
We are looking for people who have energy, initiative, patience and people skills. You will need to be highly organised and methodical, have an enthusiasm that can motivate and a tenacious attitude that can move things forward.
Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of different business structures and will have worked with people from different backgrounds in a supportive capacity.
The role is funded for a year in the first instance and it is hoped that the continuation of this role will be as part of the Community Business itself.
