We are an independent charity and have been operating locally since 1978. We have been a brand partner of the national charity Age UK since April 2010. Our services cover the whole of South Lakeland, and our impact locally is driven by the passion and dedication of our team of over 50 staff and over 200 volunteers, as well as our ability to raise much needed funds to sustain our work now and in the future.
About the job
Age UK South Lakeland has a well-established and very successful chain of charity high street shops, superstores and a very successful online trading business.
Our aim is to continue our impressive growth plan, whilst maximising the use of our retail footprint as a gateway to Age UK South Lakeland
We are looking for someone who has a proven retail track record within either the commercial or charity sector who could take on the challenge to directly manage the shops and superstores.
You will need to have a passion for retail and increasing overall unrestricted income for the charity.
The role will be based in Kendal and include extensive travel throughout South Lakeland
This is an exciting role for someone who is ready for their next challenge and where you could make a huge difference to older people of South Lakeland.
