Isabel Hospice is looking for an ambitious and inspirational leader to join the Executive Team to develop and implement the Hospice’s Income Generation Strategy so that we can care for more patients with life limiting conditions.
Isabel Hospice provides outstanding care and support for patients with life limiting conditions and their families in East Herts. Our care is funded by various sources across Fundraising and our Retail Business. The Isabel Hospice Trading Company currently operates 16 shops across Eastern Hertfordshire and an e-commerce business across various platforms. Our ambition is to significantly grow all our income streams and identify new business opportunities, so that we can provide more outstanding palliative care for all.
The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the delivery of Isabel Hospice’s non-statutory income generation (including Retail and Fundraising) with a particular focus on identifying new income streams. Overseeing Marketing and Communications, the role will focus on income generation activities, managing the profile of the Hospice in end of life/palliative care in the Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care System, and engaging with key stakeholders. A particular focus will be to reach out to new, additional supporters who can be of benefit to the Hospice and develop a strategic approach to the donor journey to ensure the value of supporters is recognised.
You will work closely with the Chief Executive, the Board of Trustees and the Income Generation Teams to develop and implement a robust Income Generation Strategy. You will encourage free and creative thinking and a ‘can do’ attitude to identify solutions to raise additional income, improve return on investment and additional contribution for the Hospice.
You will need to be able to communicate the vision of what can be achieved using your motivational and compassionate leadership skills to inspire the income generation teams (paid staff and volunteers) to be ambitious and deliver stretching targets.
