It is an exciting time to join Tynedale Hospice at Home as we expand our retail operation with the opening of a fantastic pre loved furniture and homewares shop on the outskirts of Hexham. With the increase in demand for our care services over the last year, this is an opportunity to make a real difference and raise income to support our vital work in the community.
We are looking for an experienced retailer to develop and lead a team of 25 plus volunteers and staff and be responsible for the day to day operation of our new Tynedale Hospice ‘Furniture’ at Home shop. You will have knowledge of high volume retailing and driving sales to generate maximum profit. Knowledge of the charity and or furniture sector would be an advantage.
The role requires high motivation skills along with empathy and understanding as you will be working with both paid staff and a large team of volunteers. You will be results driven, ambitious and have a belief in our values and the difference Tynedale Hospice at Home makes in our local community.
