Job Description

LOROS Hospice is a local charity and every year we care for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We deliver free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their family and carers.

Every year LOROS needs to raise in excess of £9 million of voluntary income and LOROS Enterprises play a significant role in generating these essential funds.

As Head of Retail you will be responsible for the overall operation of LOROS Enterprises which includes 31 retail shops and 2 commercial cafes across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.   In addition, you will be involved in the future development of the retail operation in order to generate funds for the Charity in line with agreed annual targets.

We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious person, who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills and has exceptional people management skills.   You will need to have commercial acumen, be a thorough methodical thinker and have an understanding of the ethos of the organisation.
