An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an inspirational, strategic thinking individual to demonstrate their extensive skills in business creation, development and management, to raise the profile of St Michael’s Hospice retail and business operations. You will be a member of the Extended Leadership team, playing an important role in shaping the future of the Hospice.

St Michael’s Hospice Retail Company is responsible for a range of retail operations, both on the High Street and on-line. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Head of Retail and Business Development, to provide strategic leadership and business acumen to maximise income generated from our existing High Street Shops and E-Commerce activity whilst considering creative new business opportunities. Supported by the Trading Manager, you will have overall responsibility for profitability, security, health and safety, customer service, staff and volunteer management.

With exemplary management, organisational and interpersonal skills, you will be responsible for a team of staff and volunteers, and for the development and implementation of a strategy designed to maximise income levels received from all retail and associated opportunities. You will be an important part of the Income Generation team, deputising for the Director of Income Generation when required.
