An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of Trading. Reporting to the Development Director, the successful candidate will lead and develop an established multi-site portfolio of retail outlets including our successful Furniture Centre and the Hospice Hair Salon, as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities including online sales.
You’ll have a strong track record in generating significant profits through a retail operation and in developing new business. You will be energetic and motivated with the ability to inspire staff and volunteers and manage performance to deliver excellent retail standards and customer service.
You will be part of a friendly and supportive team, committed to raising funds to provide end of life care to local people in Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield and Pevensey and the rural areas in between and beyond.

We offer a generous holiday entitlement of 27 days per year plus bank holidays along with a contributory pension scheme.
Contract: Full time 37.5 hours
