Due to the growing success of the EACH charity retail operation, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our expanding Retail team. Reporting directly to the Head of Retail, the Retail Area Manager post will have responsibility for shops across Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
With responsibility for leading a team of shop managers in the delivery of sales & profit budgets for EACH retail, you’ll be used to delivering exceptional levels of retail performance through outstanding retailing standards and initiatives. You will also be involved in supporting the development and delivery of the retail strategy.
You will initially manage 19 shops in an expanding retail portfolio and will want to develop a framework for success across a regionally spread set of shops. Your day to day responsibilities will include monitoring performance, ensuring adequate staffing levels and identifying and following through with the implementation of continuous improvements.
As an experienced leader of people, you will provide direction and support to enable your team to be successful and to fulfil their potential.
You will also contribute to developing a culture of shared experience and expertise across the retail operation as well as demonstrate commercial initiative to increase sales, Gift Aid, donations and volunteer numbers.
Our ideal candidate will have a good understanding of charity retail and experience of volunteer management, along with a track record of managing a high performing team delivering financial goals. Strong leadership skills and a desire to quickly engage and motivate your teams are a must.
37.5 hours per week (including occasional weekend work)
