Marie Curie are here for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. Marie Curie offers expert care, guidance and support to help them get the most from the time they have left.
Our Marie Curie nurses and healthcare assistants work night and day, in people’s homes across the UK, providing hands-on care and vital emotional support. Our Marie Curie hospices offer specialist round-the-clock care. Marie Curie support people throughout their illness by giving practical information, support from trained volunteers and being there when someone wants to talk.
You will be responsible for managing and developing the performance of our modern charity shops across London and Essex to maximise income and maintain high standards of presentation.
Candidates must have fashion retail experience at either area management level or at branch level with multisite support responsibility, have driven sales to meet targets, be self- motivated, able to motivate others, and be familiar with performance management. You will have a flair for fashion and display and be prepared to work in a “hands on” way when required.
Commercial awareness and excellent administrative and organisation skills are essential to this role. Experience of recruitment, training, and staff performance reviews is also required and supervision of health and safety would be an advantage.
As a good deal of travel is involved, a car is provided and a clean driving licence is required. This is a varied, interesting and challenging role. If you would like to join a caring and worthwhile organisation we want to hear from you.
