We are looking for the right person to manage our Distribution Centre in Hoylake, which will serve as the logistics hub for our growing portfolio of charity shops. The post holder will manage the van drivers, oversee stock logistics, run a successful retail space, manage the Retail & Distribution Centre Deputy Manager, and be in a supervisory role of other retail staff to support the Retail Development Manager.
Additionally, the successful candidate will lead a team of volunteers in Hoylake in contributing towards the hundreds of thousands of pounds raised from Wirral Hospice St John’s retail fundraising activities.
We provide high quality care to our patients and their loved ones at a time of most need. You might think a hospice environment would be a sad and quiet place but it’s an organisation with a great culture and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of managing a retail outlet to generate increased income levels and profit return.
