Job description:
Birmingham & Solihull Women’s Aid offers safe, temporary accommodation and a range of community based support services to women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse.  Applicants must have a commitment to quality, equality and valuing diversity.

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic retail manager to take on our charity shop on the buzzing Stratford Road in Shirley. The shop is a vital source of income for us and provides a fantastic shop front for our brand to the Shirley and Solihull community.

The successful candidate will be a positive, confident and people-focused manager, who has experience in a retail environment and preferably experience working with a team of volunteers.

This is a great role working in a diverse organisation where you can really make an impact and raise money for our projects supporting women and children affected by domestic violence. The position also attracts a salary of £20,400 and has an excellent benefits package which includes 31 days of annual leave a year.

The Shop Manager will lead the team to maximise the shop(s) financial contribution to BSWA by effective and entrepreneurial management and be responsible for the effective operation of the shop(s).
