Richard House Children’s Hospice is a registered charity which supports families in North and East London whose children and young adults are at risk of death from a life-limiting health condition. In support of the Hospice, we run a network of shops across East London.
Mainly shop based, this is a varied, hands on management role reporting directly to the Head of Retail and working closely with retail staff and volunteers. You will be instrumental in helping drive the Richard House retail business forward to grow sustainable retail income, develop retail standards and awareness of Richard House Children’s Hospice in the community.
Creating positive relationships with retail and hospice staff to ensure best practice with reference to donor/customer care and shop presentation.
This role will include operational responsibility for EPOS, retail Gift Aid, distribution and organising routine shop maintenance.
The successful candidate will be sales and target driven, passionate about charity retail with recent commercial or national charity retail experience as a shop manager or in a multi-site managerial support role.
24 months fixed-term contract, 40 hours per week, over five days Monday to Sunday.
