St Barnabas Hospices offers palliative care through two hospices: St Barnabas House, our adult hospice in Worthing and Chestnut Tree House, the children’s hospice for Sussex, near Arundel.
Could you run our Retail Warehouse servicing 22 charity shops and managing a small staff team? Our shops across Sussex raise over £1m profit each year – crucial income for our hospices. With a warehouse, delivery vehicles, staff, volunteers and many thousands of customers and donators of stock, this is a demanding and interesting role.
The person we need will be organised with an eye for detail, able to motivate staff and volunteers with good customer service skills. You should be able to work independently while playing a key role in our Retail management team. You must have warehouse management experience and good people management skills. Knowledge of Health & Safety and Trading Standards would be advantage.

Full-time 37.5 hours per week
5 out of 6 days, occasional evening/weekends
Salary £21,130 – £22,750 depending on experience
Location – Retail Distribution Centre in Worthing
