If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Retail Manager to join our creative, award winning Trading Team at The Hospice of St Francis. This post will extend our sustainability through trading donated goods and reducing landfill is core to this. As a retailer we are about creating an irresistible ask to donate, to buy and thereby fund our care.
The successful post holder will lead and motivate a team of Shop Managers, Assistant Managers and volunteers to achieve/exceed sales and profit targets to support the work of the Hospice of St Francis.
The successful candidate will be an experienced retail manager with a minimum of five years’ charity shop management experience. You be need to be passionate about retail with a excellent understanding of the sector and the performance of other charity and non-charity organisations. You will be able to demonstrate excellent people management skills including performance management and have strong commercial awareness with a track record of increasing and sustaining sales growth. The ability to inspire others through outstanding leadership skills to motivate others and achieve goals is key to this role.
Access to own car with a full clean driving licence and ability to travel essential. Role requires a DBS check
