Job Description

2020 has been a difficult year across many sectors and we have been working hard throughout to ensure that as a Charity we can continue to raise vital funds for Florence Nightingale Hospice to support patients and their families across Buckinghamshire.

Our Retail team continue to go from strength to strength, and to support our growth strategy, we have recently opened a fantastic new Furniture Showroom & Charity Store in Aylesbury. We are looking for an enthusiastic senior manager to lead, motivate and support our Showroom and Online teams to maximise income from this new high profile site.

We are looking for someone positive, energetic and with the ability to inspire staff and volunteers to deliver an exceptional retail and online offer, while keeping things safe and legal.

The role would suit someone …

  • with experience of managing a large multi-level team ideally within charity retail or furniture retail
  • who is ambitious and driven to achieve considerable sales targets
  • with experience and enthusiasm for selling online
  • who is a confident line manager, focused on the support and development of staff
  • who can exemplify and encourage positive collaboration

This is an exciting time to join Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity – you will join a team which is rising to the challenges ahead and determined to come out of the current pandemic stronger and ready for the future.

In return you’ll be rewarded with an interesting role, a competitive salary, a supportive culture that encourages a healthy work-life balance and you’ll be part of a caring, positive and friendly retail team!

Ultimately you will be supporting a Charity which commits to raise £1,000,000 each year to fund the provision of palliative and end of life care at Florence Nightingale Hospice, both in their building at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and in the community.

So if you want a career that makes a difference in the local community, join us!
