We are a charity that cares for children with serious conditions who aren’t expected to live longer than early adulthood. We help them enjoy the best possible quality of life and be as comfortable, happy and fulfilled as they can. We support their parents and families too, who often find it hard to cope. All our services are free, but to carry on funding them we need to raise over £6 million every year – almost all of it through the local community.
We are looking for a confident, first class organiser with retail experience. Charity experience preferred but not essential, you must be able to demonstrate previous management or supervisory skills as you will be recruiting, training and motivating a team of staff and volunteers.
Responsible for meeting sales targets as well as controlling expenditure, you will also confidently engage with the local community to generate stock. Great sales floor displays are a must as is the preparation of donated stock to meet capacity targets for the store. Computer literacy is essential to manage the EPOS tilling system.
Full Time – 5 days per week on a rota that includes working weekends in this seven day opening store.
