Job Description

Role purpose: To effectively manage the day to day running of the shop, staff and volunteers, with the aim of achieving optimum profit, by maximising sales and controlling direct shop expenses.

Management responsibility: Management of team of shop volunteers

Key accountabilities – Generic:

 To supervise and encourage team members and volunteers to maximise their potential through continuous learning whilst challenging and dealing with under performance.

 To recruit, manage and develop staff and volunteers within our HR and operational policies and procedures in conjunction with our lead trainer/supervisor

 To utilise volunteers appropriately within the shop

 Attend team meetings

 To demonstrate a commitment to customer service excellence

 To work within Citizens Advice policies and procedures at all times.
