Wirral Hospice St John’s provide FREE care for adult patients with life-limiting illnesses. We also support carers and loved ones; families are at the heart of our charity.
Although some NHS funding is received, the majority of our income is donated by individuals, families, groups, companies and charitable trusts.
Wirral Hospice’s retail fundraising operations contribute hundreds of thousands of pounds towards hospice care and support services.
We have ambitious plans to grow our retail fundraising operations and are seeking TWO new charity shop managers to join our Wirral Hospice team.
Are you the right person to lead a team of shop volunteers in running a profitable charity shop?
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, team-working and customer care skills, and be able to demonstrate a track record of managing a retail outlet to generate increased income levels and profit return. Retail experience does not necessarily need to have been obtained from the charity sector. Training will be undertaken across all of our charity shops before being officially allocated to one of them. Locations are all on the Wirral.
The candidate should have a desire to learn and be proactive in supporting our hospice’s values and objectives.
In return, some of the benefits that we can offer include, generous pension scheme, and a commitment to learning and development.
Post is subject to an appropriate level of Disclosure & Barring Service Certificate.
