CRUK volunteer amazing lottery achievement

Matthew Corden, Shop Manager at CRUK Macclesfield dropped us a line to say that one of their shop volunteers, Sally Hunt, has just sold her 1000th Cancer Research UK lottery ticket for this current financial year and an amazing 4584 since 2018! This is the most sold by a single volunteer in the whole of CRUK – an amazing achievement for Sally, the Macclesfield store and for the continuing support for Cancer Research.

Sally has been volunteering at Macclesfield Cancer Research Shop for over 12 years.

Sally says ‘I love being part of CRUK and enjoy chatting with our customers, its exciting selling the lottery tickets as you never know if you are selling the winning ticket’

Matthew says ‘this is an amazing achievement we are so very proud of Sally and her fantastic commitment to CRUK’

The lottery money goes towards helping people live longer and better lives free from the fear of cancer.
