Vintage clothing range launches at selected NCBI stores

On Friday 17 June 2022 – CRA member, NCBI (National Council for the Blind of Ireland) announced its dedicated vintage clothing offer at three of their stores.

Beverley Scallan, Head of Retail at NCBI said: “The demand for vintage clothing has skyrocketed in recent years and it is a trend that is going from strength to strength. NCBI Retail already has years of experience in selling top quality, pre-loved clothing and more, so it only made sense to introduce some of the best vintage pieces you will find anywhere to our offering.

“As always, our goal is to provide NCBI customers with a great bargain while bolstering the services our organisation provides to people who are blind or vision impaired across Ireland and by introducing our dedicated vintage rails, we are adding another string to our bow to be able to achieve this.’

NCBI’s vintage range will be available in their stores at 161 Capel Street in Dublin 1, at 30/31 Lower Camden Street in Dublin 2 and on Mill Street in Maynooth, Co. Kildare. Among the range available at the three stores are plenty of pre-90s and 90s classics from brands like Nike, Adidas, Ellesse, Fila, Champion, Wrangler, Levi and more.

To celebrate the launch of our Vintage collection, some of the best pieces were shared across the NCBI Retail Instagram account over the course of the day on 17 June, so don’t hesitate to do your window shopping there and then pop in store to bag your vintage find!

NCBI’s chain of stores, which is the second largest in Ireland, plays an integral part in the charity’s overall fundraising efforts, allowing the national sight loss agency to provide vital, life-changing services to over 8,000 people each year.
