Events and Covid-19


Given the current government guidelines on social distancing and restricting travel, we have taken the decision to put a pause on our training and events programme until July. We are running a series of regular Zoom calls to keep members connected and have set up a LinkedIn discussion group. Our range of network meetings and the AGM bring together charity delegates, corporate members, speakers from the commercial retail sector, academics and others to share their knowledge, ideas and expertise.

Free to attend for both our charity and corporate members, every meeting has a packed programme. We look at the current retail scene, hear from successful charity members and corporate partnerships that may inspire you, take a look at our recent lobbying and policy work to benefit the sector – there really is something for everyone. Plus every event has a small exhibition.

All Network Meeting are free to attend for both our charity and corporate members. Details of our autumn events will be made available shortly, including a link to book online.

You can now click on any of the above links to take you straight to an online booking page through Eventbrite. Alternatively our calendar of events download also has booking links on it for any meetings which are currently open for booking.

You can also access the presentations and any minutes from past network meetings by logging into the members’ area.

Catering in 2020

In our efforts to go green, all Charity Retail Association events will be 100% vegetarian-catered by default. You are still very welcome to opt for a meat/fish-option so please make sure this is noted in the dietary requirements section when booking, alongside any other dietary requirements you may have.
