This year’s CRA Annual Conference promises to be the biggest and best yet. We have more space, more speakers and more exhibitors than ever before.

We work in an impactful sector. Charity retail fundamentally affects individuals, the environment, communities and more. At Conference, we aim to impart knowledge and expertise to delegates to either begin an impact journey in one of our seven focus session streams or improve a journey already started to help further channel their impact to make positive change. Read more about the conference here

Impact on sustainability
Sustainability is a key session stream at this year’s conference and as such, we are doing things differently. As ambassadors for charity retail, which kept 339,000 tons of textiles going to landfill in 2019/20, we are choosing sustainable options across our events portfolio.

We have already committed to hosting our Conference brochure within an app to limit production of single use materials, and after reviewing the standard sponsorship offers, we have considered how we can continue our ethos of avoiding the production of single use items.

With this in mind, we hope you will understand the thinking behind these decisions and wish to join us in demonstrating a commitment to sustainability through this year’s additional sponsorship opportunities, that we hope will minimise production of ‘one and done’ items, but still give you the opportunity to get your name in front of this years’ delegates.

You will no longer see leaflets, wrap banners, lanyards or tote bags, but instead the opportunity to put your name to essential delegate services. Take a look below.


Exclusive Wi-Fi sponsor

Price £2000 + VAT

Ensuring that delegates can get online with ease, this exclusive sponsorship offer ensures that your name will be associated with the first question passing delegates’ lips on conference opening “what’s the Wi-fi password?”

What you get

  • Your sponsorship will be promoted on our website, Charity Retail Voice, Charity Retail Events, social media, post-Conference Directory, conference app.
  • Branded landing page for complimentary delegate Wi-Fi
  • Around the venue signage for delegates with the Wi-Fi password will include your logo and location of your exhibition stand.

Exclusive cloakroom and ticket sponsorship

Price £1500 + VAT

Most delegates will have coats and bags they need to drop off on day one before they can check in to hotels and will need a space to store on day two after they have checked out. The cloakroom is located in the registration lobby area of the conference centre.

What you get

  • Your sponsorship will be promoted on our website, Charity Retail Voice, Charity Retail Events, social media, post-Conference Directory, conference app.
  • Your logo and exhibition stand number would be printed on the tickets given to delegates to claim their items.
  • A3 signage at Cloakroom drop off point, with your logo highlighting your sponsorship delegates

Exclusive bottled water & water cooler refill stations sponsorship

Price £1500 + VAT

Each delegate is allocated two glass Harrogate Spa water bottles to help keep them hydrated which they can top up from the water coolers allocated around the venue.

What you get

  • A3 signage displaying your logo and highlighting your sponsorship of the water coolers will located at the refill stations and direct delegates to your exhibition stand.

Exclusive sanitiser station sponsorship

Price £1000 + VAT

Sanitiser stations are dotted around the venue offering delegates the opportunity to hygienically sanitise their hands/phone/laptop throughout conference, giving them an extra level of confidence that they are protecting themselves throughout the day.

  • Signage at each sanitiser station will promote your sponsorship and direct delegates to your exhibition stand

Exclusive biodegradable attendee badges and ‘no new lanyard’ sponsorship

Price £1500 + VAT

We have decided against delegate lanyards, name badges and badge holders produced solely for conference, instead asking delegates to bring their own ID. Proof of attendance is still required in some form for health and safety requirements so we have sourced biodegradable paper stickers, printed on matte white, compostable, splashproof paper that can carry a corporate sponsor logo, the CRA logo and read “Retail with Impact 2022” to confirm that they are an attendee at conference.

  • Your organisation’s logo printed on the attendee badges alongside the CRA logo and conference name.

Digital advertising and delegate support opportunities

Price £695 + VAT

A rolling advert across four digital screens. The screens will also be used for conference notices. The screens are located as follows, two in the registration lobby area, one outside of the exhibition entrance and the fourth located next to where the majority of sessions are to take place.

What you get

  • Your advert will be loaded in to a rolling PowerPoint presentation set to repeat throughout both conference days, mixed in with information relating to the conference schedule, located in the busiest areas of conference traffic.
  • All artwork should be supplied as a PowerPoint or PDF document and be portrait 1080p 16:9 aspect ratio.

Travel bursaries for CRA delegates from smaller organisations  

Price £50 per delegate

We are aware that our members, particularly the smaller operations, will be feeling the impact of the cost of living more than ever, and some will struggle to justify the cost of both a delegate ticket and travel costs if they are coming a long way. We want to offer the opportunity to corporate members to support our members’ travel costs by offering £50 towards a delegate’s travel. You can sponsor one or as many delegates with their travel costs as you wish.
