Swansea MP supports local charity home store

Chief Executive Robin Osterley was privileged to visit the Swansea Home Store of the British Heart Foundation on Friday 4 October, accompanying Swansea East MP Carolyn Harris. Carolyn quickly showed herself to be a great supporter of charity retail, providing lots of good ideas as to how BHF can integrate itself still further into the local community.

Charity Retail Association’s former Head of Public Affairs, Matt Kelcher, had met with Carolyn in Westminster a few months ago, when she expressed a wish to visit the BHF store, and we were pleased to facilitate this meeting. It’s always very encouraging to see politicians support the charity retail network in their area, and we are sure that Carolyn will be a great ambassador in the years to come.
