Top sustainability session announced for Conference 2021

22/08/2021

In a change to the Charity Retail Conference programme, Terry Gardner from Acopia and Robert Barnard-Weston of Transform ESG Ltd will deliver an expert’s eye view of applying sustainable practice to our sector.

Sustainability is a real-world challenge for charities with reputation, accountability and value on investment being key focal points for the sector. In this presentation, Acopia is joined by leading expert Robert Barnard-Weston, often called the ‘Grandfather of Sustainability’ and Director of Transform ESG.

This presentation will focus on the broad issues around sustainability and how charity retailers can take small steps that can deliver tremendous impact and create value with employees, customers and wider stakeholders.

They will focus on improving both profit and people engagement, all the while benefiting the planet. This session will open your eyes to opportunities created by recent changes and will include plenty of
discussions and creative ideas. You’ll leave buzzing with inspiration on how you can transform your approach to sustainability.

Session outcomes:

  • Clear understanding of the sustainability potential the charity retail sector
