Volunteer Strategy Day

Together, we’ll spend time exploring the current context of your volunteer offer, define your aspirations for engaging volunteers, and outline the steps needed to bring your vision to life. In a nutshell, you will come away with a clear plan for how to progress with your retail volunteering strategy.
Date: Thursday 24 April 2025
Venue: Hospice of St Francis, Spring Garden Lane, Off Shootersway, Berkhamsted, Herts, HP4 3GW
Timings: 9.30am registration for a 9.45am start – 4.30pm finish
Cost: £100 + VAT per ticket
There will be free parking at the venue.
What you’ll gain:
● A comprehensive understanding of the volunteering landscape—both within your charity and the sector —and how it affects your retail volunteering programme.
● Clarity on your aspirations for retail volunteering and a clear picture of what success looks like.
● Practical tools and insights to prioritise your next steps and take meaningful action.
● An engaging and collaborative day of learning with your peers from across the sector.
Who should attend:
If you work in a small/medium sized charity retailer and you have responsibility for developing volunteering, this day would be ideal for you to attend.
Further support:
To enable you to get the most out of the day, you will be sent some pre-work in advance and you will be invited to a peer support webinar on Friday 6 June 10:00 – 12:00. This is to talk through progress with your plan and learn from others who attended the session.
