Willen Hospice Retail’s fortuitous fashion shoot
Model and influencer Fiona Andrews recently visited Willen Hospice’s Leighton Buzzard shop for its bridal department. Having recently got engaged Fiona was keen to buy a preloved wedding dress. She mentioned to the team there that she is a professional model and would be happy to offer some time to model for Willen Hospice shops free of charge. So they jumped at the chance to display and showcase on social media their lovely preloved clothing on a person, rather then the usual hanger or mannequin.
Then the retail team asked Cowper & Newton Museum if they could use their gardens as a backdrop. A professional local photographer, David Phillips, offered to take the photos, and local stylist Jane Summers offered to help on the day too – and the rest is history!
The Willen Hospice retail team are so excited to highlight the amazing quality and in-fashion items that they get donated. The clothing featured in the shoot was based on AW24 trends, such as warm neutral colours, hints of burgundy, velvet and animal print, ideal for layering this Autumn!
Take a look!
