Job description:
We are looking for an ambitious Store Acquisition Project Manager to join us and support our Store Development Programme Manager in line with the overall Cancer Research UK 5 Year Store Acquisition Programme. In this exciting job opportunity, you will manage the store acquisition critical path and ensure all tasks are delivered to standard, on time and within budget, this will include site visits/surveys, overseeing scoping of works, fit out and contractor management through to store completion and handover to retail.

On a day to day basis, you can expect to work with various stakeholders across the charity and outside, to ensure successful investments within acquired stores. Starting with the research of stores to the finalising and supporting the handover to store field teams.

The role will cover:

  • Supporting the Store Development Programme Manager in line with the overall Cancer Research UK 5 Year Store Acquisition Programme
  • Managing the store acquisition critical path and ensure all tasks are delivered to standard, on time and within budget, this will include site visits/surveys, overseeing scoping of works, fit out and contractor management through to store completion and handover to retail
  • Working and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external contractors and suppliers to ensure investment for store acquisitions are being delivered to agreed service levels
  • Researching and recommending acquisition opportunities throughout the UK to handing over the stores to the field teams
