The CRA Research Programme

One of the key benefits of being a CRA charity member is getting access to regular, exclusive charity retail market analysis and benchmarking reports. These reports are free to all charity members, offering information that cannot be found anywhere else on a range of subjects.

CRA Charity Members call to action!

Our Quarterly Market Analysis benchmarking reports cover sales, Gift Aid, transactions, shop numbers, factors affecting income, shop collection prices, and more! They allow you to benchmark your performance against similar sized charities.

This research is critical to supporting our lobbying and media work on behalf of the charity retail sector. However, we can only produce these member-exclusive reports thanks to our members’ participation filling in the surveys that inform the reports.

The more survey participants, the stronger the data, and the more influence we have to help you – our members.

In a recent poll it was found that Research was the number one CRA service priority for members. They recognise the fundamental difference strong data makes to our lobbying activity and positive change for charity retail.
