Mend it May, 1 – 31 May 2024

“Whether mended by hand or machine, invisibly or creatively, at home or by a professional – participants are asked to share and celebrate the power of mending and to encourage others to do the same.”

Run by The Sustainable Fashion Week team, #MendItMay is a chance to save some of your rag and invite budding fixers into your shops to choose an item (or items) to fix. Maybe have a #MendItMay rail, or if you have space, hold a workshop led by a textiles student, expert volunteer or someone else you know who would be great imparting this life skill.
