Social value study – shop volunteers and staff needed 2 March

We need your input!

As part of a CRA-funded project, 2 focus group sessions will be held online to discuss what difference volunteering or working in charity shops makes to those who do.

Are you able to attend? We’d love to hear your thoughts:

  • Thursday 2 March
  • On Zoom (you can join online or via phone)
  • 08:45 – 10:30 – virtual focus group for shop VOLUNTEERS
  • 13:00 – 14:45 – virtual focus group for shop STAFF (including non-managerial shop staff)
  • The study we are conducting is a social value analysis. Your opinions, experience and feedback is very important to this study. In these focus groups, 10-15 attendees will be asked questions to understand their experience of volunteering/working in a charity shop. All answers will be anonymised and never linked to the participants themselves.
  • The attendees are from different charity shops, brands and locations.

If you are able to participate please contact Charlotte at costerman@paxtecumglobal.org (who is leading these sessions for CRA).

If you know anyone that you think would like to take part, please pass this message on and get them to contact Charlotte as above.

This study is so important and geared to help our sector raise profile by measuring and promoting it’s amazing social value benefits over and above the retail/charity function. Many thanks!

Hope to see you in the sessions on Thursday.
