Charity Retail Association AGM 2019

We are delighted to announce that our AGM takes place in London on Thursday 14 November 2019.

Join our board of directors – led by Chair, Anne Webb – and staff as we review the past year. Catch up with friends, colleagues, and meet new members for a day of networking. The team will be on hand, and you will have a chance to meet some of our corporate members in our exhibition:

We have a range of excellent speakers:

  • Wayne Hemmingway, Designer and Hattie Lamb, Shop Manager for Shelter, will talk to us about ‘the place of charity shops’.
  • Dermot McGilloway, Director of Retail Services for the Society of St Vincent de Paul, will give us a presentation on how his shops focus on both community and social impact.
  • Jonathan Mail, our Head of Public Affairs and Dawn Dungate, Operations Manager for East London Textiles will present on the new accreditation standard for recyclers trading with charity shops, TRUST.

Plus we have an afternoon panel session on the topic of town centre engagement.

The meeting free to attend for both our members and non-members. The meeting will commence with refreshments at 10am, lunch will be provided, and the meeting will finish by 3.10pm.
