Headway – the brain injury association, is seeking a dedicated Retail Shop Manager to join our team in Sheffield. This is your chance to make a real difference in the lives of others while leading a high-performing team and fostering a welcoming environment for customers.
As the Retail Shop Manager, you will:
- Lead a team of staff and volunteers, fostering a positive, collaborative, and customer-centric work environment.
- Oversee all aspects of shop operations, including stock management, sales, customer service, and loss prevention.
- Achieve ambitious sales targets and implement strategies to maximise shop performance.
- Deliver online selling on platforms.
- Build strong relationships with customers, resolving inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to, maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
- Deliver community engagement to share the understanding of Headways services.
- Organise and run creative fundraising events for your store to raise awareness and funds for the charity.
To be successful, you will possess:
- Retail management experience, preferably in a charity setting.
- A strong track record of delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- The ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
- Proficiency in retail technology systems a plus.
- A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others.
