Headway – the brain injury association, the leading brain injury charity, seeks a dynamic Retail Area Manager to champion our mission in the Yorkshire & Midlands. This is your chance to build something remarkable from the ground up, shape the future of brain injury support in a diverse region, and guide our dedicated retail team in delivering performance and connectivity to allow the charity to perform its services.

As the Retail Area Manager, you will lead a new area rollout and growth over the coming years as Headway grows its retail portfolio. You are supporting the finding and setting up of new shops across the region in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Shape the Future of Brain Injury Support:

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to establish and grow Headway – the brain injury association’s retail presence across the Yorkshire & Midlands.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of staff and volunteers, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment in our shops.
• As the Retail Area Manager you will forge strong relationships with key stakeholders like local communities and across the organisation including finance and communications.
• Oversee the operational performance of the district, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. To deliver performance across all KPI’s.
• Champion stock acquisition in your area so no shop is ever short.
• Champion Headway – the brain injury association’s values and mission, raising awareness and understanding of brain injury.

Who You Are:

• Experience in multi-site management over 1 year.
• Experienced in successfully building teams.
• A highly motivated leader with a proven track record in team management and staff development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative ideas.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others.
