Life is a national pregnancy support charity that helps over 60,000 people a year. Through our services, we help people – whoever they are – to meet pregnancy or pregnancy loss with courage and dignity so they can flourish.

• Free pregnancy tests and baby supplies

Main purposes of the job:

• To oversee the day-to-day operations of the Donation Centre, including logistics and health and safety. This operation is key to the income generation for all of Life’s retail stores.
• Oversee the sorting of stock and preparation to be sent out to shops as directed by the Retail Operations Manager and Director of Income Generation.
• To ensure the smooth running and success of the store, maximising shop income and Gift Aid. You will have responsibility for adequate staffing levels using both permanent staff and volunteers, whilst maintaining the stock and premises to the required standard.
• Effectively manage furniture donation operations including collections and delivery as well as the appropriate display and sale of furniture items, maximising the sales potential of these items.
• To be aware of the policies and practices in relation to Health and Safety and to support the implementation and monitoring of compliance with policy.
