Environmental and sustainability award
Sponsored by 1st Waste Management Consultants 
This Award will be given to the charity retailer that can demonstrate measurable carbon reduction through new ways of working or improvements to existing aspects of the retail operation that reduce its carbon footprint. For example (this is not an exhaustive list):
- Introduction of green policies
- A change of energy provider
- Changes to or a reduction in consumables
- New ways of dealing with textile recycling
Criteria
- Describe the initiatives, and their goals, that have been introduced in the last 12 months to promote environmental sustainability (five points)
- A measurement of the amount of carbon saved per initiative (five points)
- Describe the success in achieving the goal(s) of the initiative(s) (five points).
